Girl in the bathroom

(Whether you believe it or not, this is a true story. It doesnt matter to me if you think it’s real or not.) So, when I was around 5 or 6, I would always go on the old iPod my parents used to own. They would allow me to go on YouTube and watch videos. It was any normal day, when suddenly, I found a strange video. It was a prank that someone played in a public restroom at some store. What they would do is make the lights flash every now and then, and when someone would walk into a stall, they would lock the restroom door so they couldn’t escape. Then, there would be some strange, bloody red suitcase with black hair trailing out of it. Then, a person with a long, black wig covering their face and a white, bloody and dirty dress would slowly walk towards the person. Another video I was featured someone supposedly giving a tour of their house that was “haunted.” The person poorly edited the girl with black hair covering her face and a plain, dirty white dress. She would just pop out of nowhere, and looking back at it, I could tell it was poorly made. But, of course, me being a paranoid 6 year old was terrified. Well, a few weeks passed by, and I everything was fine. Except one day, I walked past the bathroom that was in the hallway. The bathroom was open, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw her. She was against the wall, the black hair covering her face. The only thing that was different was that her dress was a floral pajama gown. It was dirty, and she had very pale skin. I thought I was going crazy, and thought nothing of it at first. But, I kept on seeing her. After a few years, I stopped seeing her suddenly. And, it was only then that I had the courage to tell someone. I told my sister about it, even though I thought it was me being traumatized at the time. But, my sister’s face changed as she told me that she saw the exact same girl. My sister never saw the videos. How could this strange phenomenon happen? Even years later, we saw more pictures of her, and when the movie The Ring came out, we were beginning to be scared. Of course, they could’ve been lying, but when my sister told a bunch of people at school, they said they saw the exact same girl. For some reason, the girl was always near a water source. My sister and I only saw the girl in our bathroom.

My sister and I haven’t seen her in a few years now, but if we do, we won’t be scared. Everytime I think of her, I’m overwhelmed with a sense of calmness. She never did anything to try and hurt me in the past, and I don’t think she ever would hurt us.
