“Mom why?” I said, asking my mom with tears in my eyes, but she remained silent, she was also crying too, then I looked at my mom saying ” you know what mom? This is the first time you did this to me, you never made me sad since when I was a little kid, you promised me that together with you I shall be happy forever, but why mom? Why?”
Immediately, my knees got so cold and weak, and I fell on the floor kneeling down, then my mom went straight in without saying anything
Five minutes later, I stood up and went slowly to my bed, I layed on my back and hugged my pillow looking at the ceiling, thinking of Linda. Then I was talking out of sense saying
” Now what am I going to tell Linda when we meet again? She showed me love and care, she came when I had nobody and now…..”
Then I burst into tears again, later on I stood up to check how my mom was doing, but I saw her too in the same mood with me when I was on my bed, I walked to her with a pity face and patted her. ” Mom… Please I am sorry for what I did. I said all those things out of anger, I can never have someone like you, after all she is just a friend”, I said, hoping my mom will be fine again. My mom turned around and hugged me saying
” Go to bed Jack I will be fine, and tomorrow I shall tell you the reason for all I did”. I nodded my head saying
” Ok mom” then I kissed her on the cheek and left her in her room. I went back to my room but couldn’t sleep, because I was thinking of my mom, then I went back again and I peeped at her, I saw her reading a book, the book seems to be old and she was smiling at it, I didn’t said anything but I smiled too and wonder which book was that and I went back and slept,,
Early in the morning when my mom woke me up for the breakfast, I stood up feeling tired and weak, then I looked at my bed and it was scattered, I smiled and went to brush my teeth, after that breakfast was ready and mom served us well, then the door bell rang, mom said
” Jack check ” I rushed to see who was that, when my mom turned to see me, she saw me staring at someone of my height. She was wondering who was that, later on she noticed that it was Linda, we hugged each other and began to cry. My mom too, who was at my back couldn’t know the time when a tear rolled down out of her eyes, then later we walked in and my heart was beating fast because I didn’t know what my mom’s reaction will be, but suprisingly she welcomed her and we ate together. Then later Linda said ” uhmmm I am sorry for what my dad did though I didn’t know what happened between you and him, but with what I saw yesterday he must have did something wrong. But please mom I and jack are friends in fact we are more than that now. Yesterday I couldn’t sleep because of that, I was afraid that I wont see him again,” Linda said bowing her head down and she continued ” Mom together with him, I have everything, he mean a lot to me, he is my happiness, sorry if what I am going to say is inappropriate but mom he is also my heart controller ” my mom was shocked and looked at her, I was surprised too when I heard that from Linda. We remained silent for a while, then my mom said
” Ok here is Jack, you have him. Stay happy and build a good relationship, but remember he is my only son and nothing should happen to him”
Linda nodded with a smile on her face, she turned to me and said ” Jack, you heard what your mom said. I shall be together with you no matter how the situation will be. And with me you shall be happy.”
I smiled too and said the same thing, then suddenly we heard a man’s voice from behind saying ” NO!!! ” the voice echoed and we all got scared we turned and then we got to know that it was Linda’s father we all were shocked and our eyes remained open and wide,,,
