PATIENCE

“Give me a hug” the mother said to her little son trenching her hands towards the son smiling.

“No, I won’t.” The son replied folding his hands together.

“I know you are angry son, I promise to make you a hot cocoa with lots of milk.” The mother walked towards him.

“No. I don’t want.” The son walked back few steps.

“Okay. Name want to want.” The mother said, still smiling.

“I should name what I want?” The son asked looking straight to his mother’s face.

“Yes son.”

“Okay, I want uhm… I think I will like a …. No. I want a ball. A football.” He said smiling.

“Football you will get.”

“Today?” The son asked with excitement.

“Yes today.” The mother Answered.

The son ran to his mother and hugged her.

“Son, you have to promise me too.” The mother said with a whisper.

“What?” The son asked.

“You have to complete your medications.” She said, looking straight into his eyes.

“I promise.”

“I love you son.”

“I love you too mother.”
