A Bedtime Story

A sail boat sails in the ocean, deep,

With the help of the wind and waves ;

It goes peacefully,

And very smoothly

Till the ocean is in sleep.

But when the ocean wakes

And plays with its waves,

Then the sail boat is worried

And by the thundering storms

And gushing winds

It can get easily carried.

What will the little sail boat do then ?

Will it pray to the Ocean ?

Will it pray to the Ocean’s motion ?

Or will it pray to the Lord of the Ocean ?

Who will save him from the mighty motion of the Ocean ?

Then the flag on its head

Wisely said

‘ You should pray to the wind,

‘Cause the responsible one is the wind !

‘ Well said, Oh Flag on my head ! ‘

The sail boat replied

And did pray to the wind.

The wind was kind

So it became mild

It was so considerate to the sail boat

As if it were the wind’s child !

So the sail boat thanked the wind,

And sailed in the ocean,deep,

Peacefully moving through the water

And carefully carrying it’s master’s daughter,

It reached The beach Safely,

And its master received them happily.

And here my story ends,

And here my laptop bends

And it shuts down

And it’s locked in the bag, brown.

I am off for a nap

With my hands on my lap.

Bye, my Kiddo !

Sleep tight, for this night, Oh !
