What a life: Part 2

My birthday party stopped abruptly and everyone started leaving, gossiping about me. Everything was terrifying 😱😨. I was so embarrassed. Like the ground should swallow me or I should just disappear into thin air. I ran out of the hotel and straight to my house. My house wasn’t far from the hotel so it was easy. I cried myself to sleep.

I decided to go to school the next coz it was revision but how foolish I was to think of that. Everyone started calling me criminal’s daughter. I checked my social media and the latest was my birthday party. I was melting in a spot. My best friend hugged me and told me to ignore them. She also suggested we visited the station. I still couldn’t imagine my parents commiting crimes. Common !!!

Everyone were avoiding me. Even the teachers and staff. When school was over, I ran to the gate towards home. My driver was at the school carpark waiting for me, but WHO CARES !!!😭😭.

When I got home, I had a pleasant surprise, it was aunt Jennifer. OMG. I ran into her arms and she hugged me tight. She already knew about it. She told me she would be with me. She took me to my room and comforted me. My best friend had lessons and kissed me on my cheek, telling me she’ll be back soon after lessons. I went to the police station with aunt Jennifer and saw my parents. They both looked pale as if they were about to die. I rushed to them and hugged them. They hugged me soo tightly and my mom sobbed profusely. I looked into her eyes and asked, “Mum, dad are you guilty ?” My mum nodded NO and my father did the same. “We must have been framed Sylvia.” my dad said in a fierce, yet sad tone. I nodded in agreement. I left and got into the car and waited for all aunt Jennifer. This continued for a week.

I was coming back from school and I saw aunt Jennifer sitting on the porch crying hardly. When I asked her the reason, I was dumbfounded… What the …
