THE WORST ACCIDENT EVER

I can’t remember exactly how old I was but I think I was about 6 or 7. When I was young my parents loved to party with their friends. This meant that I saw many nights back in the day where I stayed up past 2 or 3 in the morning. My little brother and I would play many types of games with the kids of the other parents there partying with my parents. One night it was about 1am or so and we hear cars being revved up passing by. We hear the vroom and zoom of the cars racing by and then all of a sudden bang…us kids run over there to take a look. All of our parents were there just as quickly. As I ran past a bush I could see the secret the bush had hidden from all of our view. It was the worst accident I had ever seen. The car looked like an accordion as it had just run into a street light telephone post. I remember looking down because someone screamed, “omg theres bodies underneath the car.” There was a body and it looked like a mannequin. I remember thinking this can’t be real but oh my gosh it most certainly was. I tried getting closer but one of the grown ups yelled get the kids away from here. I saw my mom grab the guy underneath the cars hand and say a prayer as he passed away. i know he passed away cause she told me years later the guy died instantly. There was another guy in the car who got flipped out and ejected from the car and landed on the pavement some 30ft or so away from car. He stood up but his leg was damaged so he was hopping around on one leg talking to the adults who were asking him questions. He said they were racing another car and that car rammed them off the road. He also said the person under the car was just an 18yr old kid. When the cops came one of the adults informed the cop this guy was also in the wreck and she turned around to where the guy who was telling us what happened was standing and….he was gone! Just like that, poof, and the guy was gone. The cops patrolled the area looking for this guy all night. They never found him. It was crazy…I remember this night vividly. I’m 45 now and I saw one of the other kids who as kids played with with my little brother and i asked him if he remembered this. He remembered the exact same things that I remembered. I will never ever ever forget this night. It’s permanently etched into my brain for life…oh and may the 18yr old kid who passed away R.I.P.
