THE STUBBORN GIRL

Once in the very heart of Africa there lived a girl . Her name was wakelele meaning the noisy one.she had inherited the name from her great grand mother whom at her time was the village soloist. However wakelele had not inherited the valued talent of her great grandmother but instead grew up to be a noisy and stuborn child. This did not please her parents nor her friends. It was very odd for a girl to be so talkative in the society set up those days as it was regarded as rude. Her parents kept warning her of her behaviour but wakelele did not listen.
One time in the village romours started spreading that ogres had come into the village.parents warned their children against going to the forest alone to graze cattle or collect firewood.wakeleles parents always warned their daughter against shouting too much when left home alone while perfoming house hold chores.
It came a time when a hungry ogre was passing in the village. It was daytime and all the young men and villigers were busy in their fields.wakelele was home alone sweeping the compound lamenting and shouting at the top of her voice. The hungry ogre overheard her and approached the house.
Upon seeing the ogre wakelele started to shout and scream at the top of her voice .Nobody dared to go and see what was the matter as they thought it was wakeleles ussual shouts. The ogre jumped on her and ate her .

Moral lesson :
Do not always do things that are not pleasing to orther people.one day you will end up in trouble and every one will asume you.May be they will think you are playing a prank on them.Be serious in life .
