Sadness has not much virtue if scolding is along with it. Billy was sad much. He was sadened by many things these days. ‘What will make me not feel sad,’ Billy thought.  Perhaps I should call a friend. Billy called Michael. Michael was his long time friend.

“I just feel sad Michael,” said Billy.

“I am sorry to hear that. Perhaps Billy you should sleep it off.”

“That might help. I heard my parents fight. They were sounding so mean to each other. They were like two wolves attacking each other. They never argued like that before.”

“You will manage Billy. You will be fine. Talk to your parents.”

“I will do that right now.”

Billy went to his parents.

Mom and dad. Please do not argue like that again. I did not like it. I became sad afterwards. You both were sounding so angry. Can you both go back to loving each other again. Please ”

Billy’s parents looked at each other. They hugged each other and Billy.

“I promise we will not,” said Billy’s mother.

Billy was brave to get in the middle of his parents to tell them to stop arguing. Billy’s mother and father swore they would not argue that way again.
