A Letter to my future wife

Hello future wife,

I am doing great, hopefully you have also done something great in your life that you got me :P. Hahaha… well, this is just a trailer. Always be ready to listen to these narcissist jokes about me.

Afraid! Aren’t you? Who is this guy, who wants to hold your hand? Do I deserve you? What could be the future with this guy?

Your fear is justifiable. Because you have hopes and expectations, where you must have dreamt of something in your life and you want to fulfill it. You must have questions in your mind, am I going to allow you to pursue your dream? After wedding, will your life change?

Then, NO. It will remain the same. Your dream will become my dream, your life will be my responsibility. I know, you are grown up and you can take care of yourself. But I would love to give a hand whenever you will need me. The only thing which is going to change in your life will be, that you will have to bear one annoying partner with you.

There is one thing, I want you to know about me. I am a little difficult to live with. You might think, I am feeling less or a guy with no emotions. Because I have huge trouble in expressing my feelings towards anyone. I always believe, instead of using shiny and decorative words, show your love through your actions. It might be a little disappointing, if I won’t do what I say. That is why, I speak less. Little less than any normal guy.

To be honest, I have few expectations too. But those are minimal:

  • Respect should be mutual.
  • Understanding between us. Don’t worry, we will create it with time.
  • And never disturb my sleep, everything can wait until doomsday. (That is more important).

One more important thing,

I will always try to love your imperfections.

You know there is one benefit too.

If a writer falls in love with you, you can never die. — Mik Everett
