I dont know if i should write this down, but it seems to be the only way right now to put my attention elsewhere. I saw this horror movie The Conjuring in the evening, laughed it off, typical possessed by spirits shit. Yes i dont believe in spirits, humans being possessed by them and so on! I dont offer an alternate explanation about what people might have experienced but i’d rather choose not to believe in them else most of my beliefs about the world and its existence go for a toss! But its way past midnight and the nocturnal owl in me refuses to fall asleep. So while i was in my bed, i heard an unnatural sound, like something heavy falling on the shelf accross the bed. It broke the comfortable silence of the night but more than that i was startled, tried directing the screen of my phone in that direction looking for what could have fallen down at this hour of the night. Also since my room has nothing that could create such a sound in the first place

I went back to my phone, a minute later i heard it again, this time more prominent then the last. I tried catching anything but in vain. Yes i freaked but stayed still, my heart pushed harder against my chest. Thats when it started, a constant sound of a clock ticking, the sound only audible in the pin drop silence of the night.
I got no clock in my room!
But the sound is still here, i hear it as i write this, i dont know what it is i dont know whats gonna happen
I can hear the bats wailing and the street dogs howling outside, just tonight something does feel wrong!
The sound doesnt leave me. My brother sleeping next to me has been tossing in his sleep for a while! I’m trying to ignore any meaning coming out of it..
