“Hey Phil?”
A very raspy Dan’s voice wakes me up from the lil bit of sleep that was finally coming to me.. Currently we were in my bed having a sleepover which was a terrible idea and also the donuts made it worse cause now he just couldn’t sleep at all for some reason..Stupid me ugh!
“Y-yeah?”
I say with a croaky voice.
“Di-did I wake you up?”
“Oh no Dan I’m always perfectly awake at..” I look at the clock..”2:47 am”.
“I’m sorry”
He sounded hurt. Now I feel bad. It’s this one affect that Dan has on me I just don’t have the courage to be rude and move on.
“No it’s fine Dan. What’s wrong?”
“We-well I was just thinking about you know the whole soulmate thing..”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah”
“What about it?”
“Uh.. It’s..D-do you still believe we’ll find it?”
“….”
“Phil?”
“I don’t know.”
“Okay..goodnight.”
“Goodnight.”
Yup I’m not gonna be able to sleep anymore tonight.
