“DAN! What are you doing?”

He told me that half an hour ago.
You know what? As much as I have a crush on my house mate, he can be very annoying.
I immediately smile.
“You know, Dan, (I smirk) I have something for you. Come down sooner to see what it is.”
I can hear him sigh deeply.
“Oh, okay, and how many times have you told me that today?”
Then it was my turn to sigh.
I had to try. Show how much he meaned to me. We were meant to be going out somewhere today, but it looks like he’s taking to long.
I had to do something!
Having a crush on someone for 3 years and not telling them is actually kind of hard to keep a secret. But why did I think this was the right moment? He’s been my best friend for ages and ages. Maybe I shouldnt be shy? I did try to once. But he didn’t know I was trying to because he was to interested looking at the ‘here come dat boi’ meme on the internet.
Dude, memes are good but I really need to tell him.

Finally, after another 20 minutes, he came down and said he was ready to go.
“Oh!” I say.
“What?” Dan smiles and laughs. “What’s wrong?”
“Forgot something. Be right back.” I say, dashing into the front room.
I could hear Dan slouch against the wall and sigh. “This gonna take long?”
“Relax ya big baby, I’ll be in and out. Just wait.” I call back to him.
A good wait.
I stay in the front room for 10 minutes. Come on, Dan. Just come in…
“Phil? 15 minutes! What are you doing?”
Actually it was 10 but I loved his imperfections.
I decided not to reply.
“Uh, Phil??? I’m worried now..”
Just take a step in here Dan….
“Phil…”
As soon as I see his hand poke through the door I was ready.
I grabbed his hand, and before he could say a word I kissed his lips softly. I didnt really know why I just couldn’t help it. I didn’t want to ask him out, i mean, if he said no? I couldn’t take that kind of rejection. So even if he doesn’t like it, I’m kissing him.
I slowly let go to see Dan, dazed and speechless.
“Now,” I say with a laugh, “That wasn’t a joke.”
Dan looks up at me, un able to say a word. He just smiles and nods dramatically, and my heart is now set forever.
Ok, I don’t even know what that was xD if dan and phil ever saw this, I would cry and cringe but still I love them.
