Sarah, a tailer is very beautiful girl. She has two step sisters who are older to her who are also tailers. Three of them does their living by stiching the clothes to earn food and money. Sarah’s sisters are always jealous of them as she is more beautiful than other two.
One day Sarah goes to market to get vegetables. While returning home her foot gets stuck with something and she falls on the floor. There is some hard material inside the ground due to which she fell. She starts digging the ground and she finds a pot which is beautifully painted. There are also some types of stones attached to the pot which made the pot look very attractive.
Sarah takes the pot home. She places it in her room and at night she starts observing it. After some time she gets hungry and says “Oh Iam very hungry, i want to eat some fruits.” Then suddenly the pot gets heavy and she is surprised to find fruits inside the pot. Sarah gets excited and she thinks “Oh my God! It is a magic pot.” Then she starts wishing for other things like shoes and eatables. One day she wishes for diamond necklace which appears in the pot. Sarah gets really happy as she considers herself lucky to find such a pot.
One day the queen of the kingdom invites the people in the kingdom for the feast which is arranged in the palace and it’s surroundings. Two sisters of Sarah decides to go to the lunch with the best dress and jewellery they have. They denies Sarah to come to feast as Sarah would look more beautiful among them.
Sarah, who is really keen of visiting the King’s palace decides to go after her sisters left. As she doesn’t buy any jewellery to herself she wishes the magic pot for the beautiful gown, pair of earrings, a necklace and beautiful pair of anklets. As soon as the things appears in the pot she gets ready and goes to palace. She explores the palace and after having the feast she hurriedly runs to reach home before her sisters. On the way she drops her anklet.
Next day the Prince takes his horse to the river. He finds the beautiful anket of Sarah on the ground. He is amazed as he thinks “This anklet is very thin and beautiful. Don’t know how much beautiful the owner of this anket would be!” He shows that anklet to his mother and expresses his desire to marry the girl to whom the anklet belongs. Queen sends her men to check for the girl by making it wear to all the girls in the kingdom. The anklet does not fit into any girl in the kingdom as it becomes very tight or very loose.
One such day the three sisters turn comes. The anklet is tested on Sarah’s sisters first but it becomes very tight to them. Then comes Sarah’s turn. The anklet fits perfectly to her ankle. The men informs this to the Prince. Prince visits Sarah’s home and is amazed by her beauty. He brings the marriage proposal with queen to which Sarah happily agrees. The marriage is held in very grand manner for 31 days according to the King’s family.
Sarah also confesses the truth about the magic pot to her sisters. The two sisters appears happy and mingle with Sarah. On the 31st day Sarah’s sisters make Sarah ready. They make her braid and pin it with the pins. They insert one by one after which Sarah starts turning into a dove. The truth is Sarah’s sisiters who are jealous of her getting married to prince wished the magic pot for the magic pins which would turn her into a bird.
Prince who finds that his wife is missing orders his men to start searching for her. But they are unable to find her. Prince becomes upset and starts worrying about his bride. He sits in his room before a window. Sarah who became dove comes and sits in front of the window. Prince looks at the dove and sadly goes inside room. The dove comes daily and sits in front of the window. One such day the Prince notices the dove and he becomes interested in the dove and takes the dove into his hand and starts rubbing his hand smoothly on dove’s head. But he finds something uneven on its head. He finds the pins and takes them out one by one. The dove slowly starts converting into Sarah. The Prince is happy more than surprised to find his wife. He hugs her and also orders her sisters to leave the kingdom for their doings. Sarah throws the magic pot into the river as she feels it may be misused and also happy as she doesn’t need the pot as she has her Prince to take care of her.
