Gooby

My cousin, Abir and I were sitting in the garden, reading books. We talked about our favourite story characters like ” Feluda” and “Harry Potter”. Suddenly, a flash of light lit the whole area and a strange flying machine landed on the ground. ” A UFO! A UFO!” Shouted my cousin. There was a green alien coming out of the machine. ” Hello!I am Gooby. Can you find me a place to live……only for one week?” We took him to our home and let him stay there. We warned him that mom and dad would not like aliens to stay in their home so it was better for him to be hidden. We shared our food with him and sometimes with our pocket money, we bought him candies. Soon he became our best friend. He told us awesome stories about his planet. Once, with his time machine,he took us to the period of the dinosaurs.He also took us to the reign of the pharaos.

Soon the time for his leave from this planet came. Tears rolled down our eyes as we said him our last goodbye. He said he will never forget us. He gave us two wonderful gifts. He was the best ever friend we ever had. I hope someday he will again come to meet his friends.
