The haunted house
It was 1 a.m. . I was returning from my office. It was a cold night and I was very tired. As I walked I came near a large palace. I thought “Maybe today I can stop here. I am really tired and it’s freezing cold here.” So I knocked at the door but there was no response. But suddenly a strong wind blew past me and the door opened on its own. I didn’t think much and got inside the palace. There was noting inside the palace and no one lived there. I put my shawl on the floor and lay down there. After five minutes, I could hear some women talking with each other. As soon as they started talking a number of beds and chairs appeared around me. I jumped in fear it thinking it just to be a dream I again lay down. Soon a fragrance filled the room. I could hear someone shouting loudly “Death! I love death!” A number of skeletons danced and laughed. The laughter sounded ghastly. Soon it became dark and dark and dark……
A light fell on my eyes. I opened my eyes and I saw myself lying beside a graveyard. It was morning, around seven o’clock. I thought that the dance of the ghosts was just a dream.Soon I met a man who was walking near the graveyard. He said” Hi there! Did you face the dance of the ghosts here?” I could not talk.
