In my town it’s quiet and peaceful hardly anything happens here. My town is filled with kind people. The kind of people that help old ladies across streets and bake a cake for their new neighbors. I loved my town to death because of its peaceful nature. Always quiet no disturbance, the only sounds evident were the animal sounds and the distant toot of a train horn. Other than that it’s nothing. On a sunny Saturday morning a big truck comes whizzing past. I got my red ball just in time and jumped out of the way before it grazed my body. Just missing my toes by a couple inches. Tall loud people climb out of the front, arguing about god knows what before running inside. I, stood and watched the house go from quiet to a complete circus. I covered my ears because of the noisy ness.
“It’s okay. They’ll calm down once the euphoria summers down.”
I jump, not knowing there was A N O T H E R one. He acted quite different though. He also looked very different. He was short and thin haired. His skin so pale it looked paper thin, you could see the blue veins pulsing in his forehead. His arms and legs so skinny you could wrap one finger around them. The oddest thing was his head. It’s shape took that of an egg. Long and skinny. I brush it off, thinking nothing of it.
“Man, you scared me.”
“My names Ralph.” He states. Looking at me with his black eyes.
“Dalia.”
