Once there lived a man named Sahil who always told rumours about others.One day he went to a priest and started to tell gossips about his neighbour.At the time he started, the priest stopped him and asked, “Dear Sahil,I know what you are going to tell.I have no time to hear your rumours.”
Sahil told the priest,”but I haven’t told you anything yet.”The priest replied that people are believing him as an incarnation of God who can make correct astrological predictions.So why can’t I guess your words?Sahil asked the sanyasi why he was stopped by the priest and also enquired the problem behind telling his words.The Sanyasi replied with a small smile by tapping Sahil on his shoulder,” Sahil….by telling this minds of rumours,do you have any use?” Sahil nodded his head with confusion.Guruji continued,”Does your neighbour has any use? Moreover do I have any use?”Sahil again nodded his head and told ” No guruji,no-one has any use”
Guruji told,”Then Sahil you must understand that neither you nor your neighbour or the person who is hearing this has no use at all.So don’t waste your time in these nonsense things.Think whether you are right or not.”Guruji ended his speech by this and went to his thapasya.Sahil understood his mistakes and thanked guruji.
Moral:Don’t waste your precious time by telling gossips.
