One day there lived a king, more wealthy and more stronger, who had a dream to live longer, he was loved by all but he had a heart made of stone, bones made of metal he felt no love nor pain, he had everything but he lacked the sense he never laugh for humor his life was filled with grief.
One day to his kingdom came a beggar women, she used to beg whole day and used to sleep in the hut made by herself in the forest.
King got a news of illegal activities which is happening in the town so, he went to check himself in an masquerade and while inspecting in the market he saw that beggar lady who was giving a piece of bread to the dog within the small piece of bread she had and her beauty was not able to compared with any earthly or heavenly creature or thing which made his heart half soft and felt very unusual thing in him. He told about the unusual thing which happened to him to his minister, to which his minister told that it’s not to be worried he is just in love with her, and asked who was she i will find her in all the three world and bring her in front of you order me told the minister, to this he said she is a beggar women and knows nothing more than that minister was so upset to hear this and said “but my lord why do you fell in love with that beggar women when hundreds of ladies of the neighboring kingdoms are standing on their toes to get marry you”. To which King replied “that is love and this love made my heart soft this lady made me feel joy, made me feel pain I believe she cured me.”
And the minister and King himself went in search of that beggar and it was not so difficult for them to find where she lived, Minister went towards that beggar and ordered that she should meet the King not asking her opinion they dragged her and made her stand in front of the King. King came towards her not saying another word he called his servants and told them to take her and make ready like a Queen. the servants after few while made her dressed like a Queen, and the King went towards her and said he loves her and she should marry him, to that the beggar lady said “My lord whom did you Loved? the women in this Queen dress or the beggar women you saw yesterday”. To which King answered “neither of them but her heart which is so kind which made his heart partially soft, to which the lady asked “what about the other half?”. He said “will you help me to make it soft as well, to which she replied I can help with it and she kissed him he felt lot of pain at sudden and eventually his entire heart became soft both of them married and were living happily.
But the news of his heart becoming soft spread to the enemy King, and he came with his troops to defeat him. First time the heart of the King trembled but still he called all his soldiers not to worry he will lead them and we will face him in the Battle field and let us make him loose with humiliation and taste the victory. All his soldiers were so happy to follow their King who was so kind than any King on earth he took his sword and entered the battlefield this time their thinking’s went wrong he wasn’t weak as they thought but was as strong as ever he could have even sense the breath of his enemies from very far distance and he easily defeated the enemy. The Love made him not weak but powerful and strong.
Then after Both the King and Queen lived happily and that Queen in spite of being a Queen was been called popularly as a “beggar Queen” in the folk songs.
