The foolish peacock.
- Once there lived a beautiful peacock. It always admires it’s feathers. Near the peacock’s home flowed a stream In the stream lived a stroke. The stroke was white in colour. The peacock wanted to show up as though it had the most beautiful feathers. The peacock started teasing the stroke. The stroke felt unhappy and said ” l have a pair of wings,and l can fly and see the nature ‘s beauty. But you cannot as you don’t have wings.” This made the peacock also feel sad. It said ” Sorry for hurting you. Now l realised that God gives each creature in the world a unique character. ” The stroke felt happy that the peacock realised it’s mistake. It swooped as high as possible and flew.
